This is the intro to the title track of my album "Hands Without Shadows." By palm-muting most of it I can really accentuate the pinch harmonic on the flatted fifth (which is C, since we're in the key of F‚ôØ minor) on the second beat of bars 2 and 4. Be sure to throw in a nice, wide vibrato to bring it out even more, pulling the string in toward your palm with the fretting finger.
Also note the string skips in bars 1 and 3; be careful not to inadvertently sound the A string as you move the pick from the low E string at the end of the first and third beats to the D string at the beginning of the second and fourth beats.
The tempo is 96 beats per minute, 54 for slow practice.
