In this Closing Time guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this smash hit from Semisonic note-for-note.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
I will be demonstrating all the guitar parts in the way that guitarist/singer Dan Wilson plays them live. For the most part, it is identical to what you hear on the original recording, albeit, there are a couple of additional overdubs on the studio recording. I will demonstrate those overdubs as well just in case you have a two guitar band and can play both live.
Each section of the song will be covered in the order that each appears on the original recording.
