Modern acoustic guitar playing is a true ‘fusion’ of many different musical cultures. Elements from classical, flamenco, folk, jazz, and Cajun music can all be found within the playing of a lot of contemporary acoustic players. Technically, we can find fingerstyle playing, creatively voiced chords, strumming, legato playing, harmonics, and percussive techniques amongst others, all coming together to generate a style of acoustic guitar playing which is the basis of this course. A must for anyone wanting to expand their playing into this popular style of playing.
