A huge THANKYOU to you all for your support and great feedback :).
To celebrate this important milestone I thought I'd share some exciting news about upcoming mastertheguitar video lessons :).
I started the MasterThatRiff (and later MasterThatMelody) video series primarily as way to show people how to play some damn cool riffs and promotion for my teaching business here in Edinburgh.
But I had another sneaky reason ;).
Basically I wanted to get used to recording video, sound, speaking on camera and evolving a lesson format to a standard that I was happy with so I could start recording video lessons!
I've been working on and off on them for a few years (mostly off to be fair ;)) but I am now close to launching the new mastertheguitar.co.uk website which will have an online shop selling pre-recorded video lessons.
A new series of videos called MasterThatLick that will look at great licks for players of all levels to use in their own playing but I will also be releasing video lessons looking at all aspects of guitar playing that should appeal to players of all levels.
I won't be looking at teaching how to play particular songs or solos etc. Only material that should hopefully enhance your own playing :)
Until everything is ready for launch what I would love for you guys to let me know what material you would like to see in these videolessons. I already have lessons mapped out but feedback from you would be great!
Please post up any ideas or thoughts in the video comments.
Thanks again!
Mark
