We've teamed up with the good people at @PeachGuitars to bring you the quick licks challenge.
In this video, Mitch Laddie gives an example performance of how you can use the licks over the backing track.
Each challenge will focus on the style of one of the guitars great players,
giving you a backing track and 3 licks to learn. For the first challenge, we are looking at the style of John Mayer.
Just learn the licks and add them to a solo, film your entry then upload and tag us on social media. At the end of the challenge, we'll pick our favourite entry, and they will receive the grand prize courtesy of Peach Guitars.

● Watch the video above and learn the 3 Licks
● Use the 3 licks to inspire you and create your own solo
● Film and record your solo
● Upload to social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube)
● Tag your post with #licklibraryquicklicks
And that's it, we will be monitoring the #licklibraryquicklicks for all entries and our team will be sharing our favourite performances. Our overall favourite will win a Gretsch Streamliner worth of £900!
This competition is open to all, we not necessarily looking for a million notes, we wanna see the right notes, with great feel, articulation and phrasing.
