Welcome to this exclusive video featuring Guthrie Govan, where you will learn this wide stretching legato lick using the A Minor Blues Scale. The lick is in Tom Quayle's own unique style with hints of Greg Howe and other modern legato players.
In this video, Tom will show you this lick and there is a free tab (linked above) that you can use to learn this lick for yourself.
The lick stretches between two different shapes of the Blues scale at any given time and ascends up the neck. It starts low down in the 5th position before working up.
You'll hear the lick both fast and slow
