This lick is inspired by the likes of the great Robben Ford, Matt Schofield etc. using the Half-Whole Diminished scale to create some very cool tension as we change from a I to the IV chord (bar 4 of a typical 12 bar) in a blues in A.
Recorded with my Fender Classic Player 60s strat going through a Wampler Dual Fusion Pedal into a Victory V30 head with cab simulation from a AMT CP-100.
