On the eve of the auction of the late, great Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher's iconic guitars at Bonhams of London on 17 Oct, we took the chance to play the workhorse Gibsons that were among his hottest electrics. Stellar guitarist Barrie Cadogan (Little Barrie, The The, Primal Scream) pays homage to Rory's sound on stripped down Les Paul Juniors and modded Melody Makers from the late 50s to early 60s Golden Era of Gibson production at Kalamazoo.
