For three decades, Jason Lollar has built some of the most sought after pickups on the market. Now, Guitar World's Paul Riario demos the new, soap bar-sized DC-90 pickups from Lollar, showcasing the unit's hum-cancelling capabilities that share many of the tonal characteristics of Lollar's famous '50s Wind P-90 pickups.

Note: The setup was a Supro 12” combo mic’d with a Shure SM57 and a Royer 121. The Royer was favored for this recording because of its warmer sound, however these pickups sounded brighter in person.
